The Castle - Lindisfarne
Holy Island - a truly remarkable place and I place I visit every time I visit Northumberland except for when the tide is not right - because I do not want to be one of those people who get stuck every year on the causeway from the mainland! Its the fact that its cut off twice a day that adds to the atmosphere of the place, AND it has a castle! :-)
